Austin Princess IV vuodelta 1959: ajoneuvo, joka luotiin vaativien englantilasten tarpeisiin. Ensimmäinen brittiläinen auto, jossa on vakiona ohjaustehostin. Ylellinen, hienostunut ja huolellisesti valmistettu Princess jakoi tyylillisesti mielipiteet heti alusta alkaen. Ja tekee sen edelleen.
Tätä harvinaista mallia rakennettiin yhteensä vain 199 vuodesta 1956 toukokuuhun 1959, mukaan lukien 22 Touring-limusiinia. Yksi auto valmistui käsityönä 2-3 viikossa VDP Kingsburyn tehtaalla Pohjois-Lontoossa. Sisustus on loistelias; paksut matot, runsaasti puuta, isot, paksut etuistuimet ja massiivinen jalkatila takaosassa. Hyvin varustellussa ohjaamossa on syvä, mukava jaettu penkki erillisillä käsinojilla.
Princess IV mainostettiin Country Life -tyyppisenä ajoneuvona, joka oli ”valmistettu erityisesti hyvin määritellylle ihmisryhmälle”.

Austin Princess IV from 1959: a vehicle created for the needs of demanding Englishmen. The first British car with power steering as standard. Luxurious, sophisticated and carefully crafted, the Princess shared opinions in style from the outset. And will continue to do so. This rare model was built in a total of only 199 from 1956 to May 1959, including 22 Touring limousines. One car was completed by hand in 2-3 weeks at the VDP Kingsbury plant in North London. The decor is glorious; thick carpets, plenty of wood, large, thick front seats and a massive legroom at the rear. The well-equipped cab has a deep, comfortable split bench with separate armrests.
