Pininfarinan Jaguarille tekemä malliehdotus (=ainoa kappale!), nk. Jaguar’s 1973 in-house XJ40 proposal, jonka vaikutukset Jaguarin muotoiluun voidaan nähdä vasta 80-luvulla markkinoille tulleen XJ40:n muodoissa.

Auto on tuotu noin 40 vuotta sitten Saudi Arabiasta, ostettu paikalliselta hajottamolta. Perimätiedon mukaan joku paikallinen prinssi oli ostanut auton Barcelonan autonäyttelystä. Kori on suhteellisen terve, koska aihiota on säilytetty kylmässä varastotilassa. Autoon on olemassa uudet etu ja takalasit, osa sisustuksesta istuimineen sekä kattoverhous.

Pininfarina’s model proposal for Jaguar (= the only piece!), so-called Jaguar’s 1973 in-house XJ40 proposal, the effects of which on Jaguar’s design can be seen in the forms of the XJ40, which was only launched in the 1980s.

The car was imported to Finland about 30 years ago from Saudi Arabia, bought from a local scrap yard. According to descent stories, a local prince had bought this car at the Barcelona Motor Show. The body is pretty healthy, as the car has been stored in a cold storage room. There are new front and rear windows for the car, part of the interior with its seats and roof cladding.
